They have a great service, 5/5. But I received a letter today about my broadband which said that I have exceeded my monthly usage allowance. When I signed up with them they said that I had a unlimited download and usage plan, with 2MB of download speed. (I know it’s slow lol).

I downloaded loads of games, films and software onto my computer and have never had one of these letters. When I phoned them up today they said that my usage allowance was 2GB?!?! WTF?

How can that be if I’m downloading at least two to three gigabites a day? And I’ve never gotten one of these letters.

I have previous had the Base package which comes free with sky talk and sky TV, which is partly why it’s shit, (considering 2GB usage allowance and 2MB download speed). So now they have automatically upgraded me to sky everyday, which has 10GB monthly usage allowance, and up to 10MB download speeds. For?5 extra a month.

(For existing sky customers). So why is it that if I download so much, and only have a 2GB monthly usage allowance, I have never received one of these letters? Sky do however have an unlimited package, with 20MB download speed and unlimited usage.

How do big websites that we have today start out.? I am a 26 year old male. I’ve always been good at things like art and music, but I didn’t believe it was realistic to pursue those kinds of programs in college, so I compromised and got a degree in Media Studies with an audio/video production concentration, thinking I could always get a job at a TV station if I had to. It turns out that not only was my college program actually pretty weak on the production end and doesn’t qualify me to do a whole lot, but the market is now being saturated by people doing the kind of work I went to school for because everyone with some money and an interest in that kind of thing has bought a new computer and some good consumer-level equipment and either taught themselves how to do it or taken some lessons. After graduating in 2006, I worked two internships, two temporary jobs, and a part-time job as a production assistant where I made between $5,000 and $9,000 a year.

I finally quit that job, because making $8,000 a year is NOT acceptable. I also tried door-to-door sales, which I hated and didn’t make any money at. I’ve thought of starting my own business but I don’t have the experience, time, or startup capital to do that realistically. So here I am now, 26 years old, with no particularly marketable skills and no money, just a pointless degree that I wasted four years of my life working on and nearly four more trying to make something out of. I live with my parents because I have no other choice, I have no social life because I have no money and don’t know that many people around here (and I spend most of my free time looking for work anyway).

Most of the jobs I DO find I’m not qualified for. I might be able to get a degree in something related to my current degree, but that will take me 2-4 more years and I will be approaching 30 years old. It also might not pay off, which would put me in an even worse situation.

I feel like I hardly got any use out of my young adulthood, and now I’m faced with having to move on past it much sooner than I would like, without the experiences, money, or career future that I would like to have at this point. I have a combined total of about $400 between my checking and savings accounts, and I have no job and no clear career path.

I’m also uncomfortable working jobs that require cash registers or extensive customer service. I’m highly intelligent and a good worker, but since I don’t have 5 years of work at a television station, or a certificate showing that I am a master of all parts of Microsoft Office (as if it takes a genius to figure that software out), the jobs I apply to are often not interested in hiring me. Pretty much any job I look at wants me to convince them why I’m the best, most enthusiastic, top-qualified person for the job even if it’s something stupid that I don’t like and that anyone could honestly do if given a brief training period.

They also want you to convince them that you’ll stay there sucking up to them for the rest of your life, even if it’s just a job cleaning toilets. I wouldn’t have any problem committing to a job that I wanted to be working, but it’s not the same for a temporary job that I’m taking just because I need money. I don’t know what to do. Should I go back to school to further my video and audio production skills even though it might not pay off?

Should I switch fields and get a degree in something like architecture, which would be difficult and probably use up the rest of my twenties but probably pay off more monetarily? What do I do about my current lack of money?

There are all kinds of little classes and pieces of equipment I could be buying in order to make my video experience more marketable, but I can’t afford any of it. Should I work a crap job just to afford that stuff and keep trying video production or just go straight back to school in something else? I got a pop-up telling me to install some software because my computer was “infected”. I contacted Norton & they didn’t want to tell me how to update the laptop for my subscription, they said the “threat must first be resolved”.

“Threat resolution” would require me to “do-it-yourself” (which they didn’t recommend), then they were STRONGLY pushing for their service which started at like $149 (roughly). I could see through their tactics & I just went ahead & figured out how to do the renewal myself & then I ran a comprehensive scan which all it found was a cookie. My question is: Can there still be something wrong, or by updating to the latest version & running the scan, am I safe?

or should I take the computer in to Best Buy or pay them all this money?? I just don’t want to get ripped off when I could have potentially caught & fixed the problem by having Norton run a scan. Thanks in advance for your opinions/suggestions.

i called customer service and the woman i talked to was a loon and wouldnt help me with it she just kept talking about my bill so i am asking yall lol please and thank you software update for env touch? I’ve went to their website, but it seems the driver is broken up in parts and i’m not for sure what to download.. Their customer service stinks from high heaven and they are of no help.

This card continues to crash and I have downloaded the upgrades, but now I can’t even get into the control panel for the card to adjust it. I’ve re-installed the software 3 times from my disk that came with the video card and it’s just screwed up..
