He complained that it was a totally different thing because his is the laptop lid while mine is merely a charger. Anyway we eventually leave the computer lab, and a few small things ticked me off.

When he opened the door, he was considerate enough to use more force to open the door than usual so the door would take a longer time to close, but he wasn’t considerate enough to hold the door open for me. He also walks in front of me instead of beside me and didn’t bother to look back to check if I was there. Or do you guys disagree with me? You guys could probably say that I deserve it for hanging around him when it seems he doesn’t care for me at all, but things are a lot complicated than that. I really treasure him as a good friend even though I’m not interested in dating him, but he really wants me as more than a friend. And I’m always there for him, by his side whenever he needs me. But his mood and temper always varies.

Sometimes he gets all horny and gets some crazy ideas about me and him, sometimes we’re just normal friends, and sometimes he just treats me like crap. I didn’t actually know that there’s a term called /b/tard.

The salary is good, on the higher side and the perks/facilities are fine. However there are a few concerns.

My daily commute to and fro is about 2 hours. So I start at 8am and am back home around 7:00-7:30pm.

Though my work hours are from 9 6 , as I work for a US company, there are conference calls, update, follow-ups etc which spill over till about 9pm or sometimes even later. On many occasions I have been On Call 24 x 7 , working over the weekends as well.

All is fine except that my kids are now going to school and need guidance with their homework, study and other activities. Though my in-laws take care of them, I prefer to help the kids with their studies and they too love to spend that much time with me. Of late this is becoming lesser and lesser due to my schedule.

As a result my daughters grades have slipped. My husbands schedule are similar and now that he changed his job he has to be travelling extensively and he is not as focused as me with the kids.

I have all the mind to quit and take a sabbatical for some time, but my husband is not ok with this. We have a home loan which hes pressing me to help clear off this year!

Things between my in-laws also is not very smooth and I am in a dilemma. The ideal solution in my case, I feel is to take up a job which has strictly fixed timings (no late hours! ) and enough holidays.

This way I get to contribute financially, as well as take care of the kids and help my in laws at home. I can think of teaching as an option but am apprehensive about this move. I do have IT academic training experience but that was corporate IT and for school/college level there is a separate degree needed plus the relevant experience.

Am I right in my thinking? Also can you please suggest alternate careers suitable to my profile : Management, IT related, can do HR work, teach, mentor etc etc.

The solution is to disable these services and try the upload again. To do this in Windows: Go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services. Then highlight the “McAfee Redirector” service and right click.

Exercise the stop option in the resulting menu and also disable the automatic startup of that service in that same menu. (No reboot is required.) Why haven’t I received my email for ADrive?
